1967 Caveman Caravan - Ford

11/14/2018

SOLD CaveMan Caravan $3500, Located in North Plains, Oregon
This is a true survivor, built in Grants Pass, Or in 1967. Very few of these are to be found anywhere. Lived the majority of its life in eastern Oregon. There was very little rot, which has been replaced or stabilized. The goal has been to keep it original as possible. Currently undergoing restoration/preservation. I have become burned out on this project and want it to go to someone that will finish it and enjoy it.
  • New hot water tank
  • New front wrap around windows
  • New potable water tank
  • New water lines
  • New furnace
  • Rebuilt range
  • Working 2-way (propane/120VAC) refer – freezer holds at 28⁰F and the fridge at 33⁰F
  • UV resistant cover with zipper openings for the doors
  • What’s left to do you ask?
  • Get gas service functional, I’m fairly certain it is the regulator (or my ineptness).
  • Check center and rear gas tanks for debris. I’ve been running on the seat tank.
  • Finish trimming out the coach.
Truck
  • 1967 Ford F350 camper special, dually
  • 390 V-8: Four speed transmission (at some point in its life someone installed a different cam so I’m not sure of the horse power. I came over the pass from Tillamook doing 60 without a sweat).
  • 90,999.2 miles
  • New ignition system – distributor, coil, condenser, plugs and plug wires
  • New shocks all around
  • New exhaust system
  • 90% on brake pads – vacuum assisted drums all around

Travel Queen M12 S4877 299 Doh No. DA75366. Vintage Travel Queen in good condition for SALE. I am asking $5,000.00 OBO. This coach has been in the family since 1966 and has been a great vacation RV for many years. My father made a lot of modifications to add comfort for traveling over the years, and performed maintenance when necessary. My parents have been unable to travel now for almost 11 years. It holds a lot of wonderful memories for our family and I would love to see it go to fellow travelers that wish to create some wonderful memories of their own.
