1961 Traveleze

Professionally renovated 1961 Traveleze - $80,000
This is a professionally renovated 1961 Traveleze, affectionately known as “Whiskeze”.  She is a complete rebuild and redesign of a classic trailer by architects Chang+Snyder of Oakland, California and builder Retro Restoration in Canon City, CO.  The end result is a reimagined space that is so airy, open and inviting that Dwell magazine called her a “tiny trailer that makes the world it’s living room”.  https://www.dwell.com/article/this-tiny-trailer-makes-the-world-its-living-room-bae706cb
Key upgrades in this renovation include the opening side wall that converts to a deck to allow for indoor/outdoor living, the full bathroom with walk-in shower, 320 watts of solar power with inverter and converter, inline hot water heater, and TV with wifi booster.  She also includes residential grade appliances, sinks, Kohler faucets and shower and a kitchen counter made from reclaimed barn siding by Wellborne and Wright.   Additionally, she includes LED strip lighting and recessed lights that are both efficient and dimmable by remote control.
Whiskeze will sleep two adults comfortably on the bed that converts from the forward lounge and one child on the convertible side lounge.
The build is incredibly solid and has been on trips to Colorado, the Mojave Desert, the Sierra Nevadas, the Fall River and Pacific coast beaches. Please note that you will be swarmed with people wanting to take tours of your shiny camper wherever you go.
Towing is a dream with the included Anderson anti-sway hitch system and the relatively light weight of approximately 4000 lbs.
The trailer has a 25 gallon fresh water tank, a 15 gallon black tank and a 20 gallon grey water tank.
Whiskeze is looking for a good home where she will get out more often and be seen.
She is located in Sacramento, CA.  Please contact Greg at 510-517-2061 or  gregpichephotography@gmail.com

Hi Greg,

The email address listed does not work.

Your trailer is a beauty. We live in Sunnyvale and we would love to rent her from you or from whoever you sell to.

Feel free to reply by email if you think there is a chance we could rent her. Based on the trailers for rent on Outdoorsy, $200 a night might be a fair price.

Kathy

Hi Kathy - Thanks for notifying me of the incorrect email. You can reach me directly at gregpichephotography@gmail.com. I'd be happy to rent it to you if it doesn't sell. If I go that route I'll put it on Outdoorsy and notify you. Thanks!
