1953 Trail-Ette

This is a 1953 approx 8X50 Trail-ette. I'm not sure about the weight. The title is CURRENT. It needs some outside paint and the bathroom needs to be refurbished (it has a small tub, toilet & sink--very small bathroom that has a tiny step up). It also needs attention underneath the kitchen sink & in the kitchen cabinets & the cabinets in the middle bedroom area (there's water damage). You can see in the one photo, that it has leaked a bit in the back bedroom (where the one small chest of drawers is & in the one closet). It is silver, like a Spartan or Airstream, underneath the paint. It was purchased new in 1953 by a neighbor I had. Another neighbor bought the property & sold me the trailer. It was covered, on a lot in Chico, but one side was exposed to the weather. Original everything inside. Red and white tile on the floors, original built-in little table nook and lots of other built-ins like cabinets, chest of drawers in the middle area bedroom and in the rear. That's the original mattress in the middle area that you see. Also the original screen door (screens on both doors). The cabinetry wood is gorgeous. The drawers look as if they've never been used. The original owner had another room built-on to one side and she mostly used the room and not the trailer. The heater is located as you go into the front door (to the left), and that works. The refrigerator is like-new. I did have it re-wired throughout and put a new outside light over the front door. The original owner put window air conditioners in the front and the back windows. The trailer really is remarkable. I wanted to live in it but things aren't working out that way for me, so I'd like to find someone who would love it; fix it up and use it. It is on a storage lot in Chico, CA. Please contact me w/any questions and more photos. Only seriously interested please reply. The price is 15 thousand, FIRM. dd9xc-6004254113@sale.craigslist.org

Hi, I sent an email to the email listed above, but it was kicked back to me and not delivered. Is this trailer still available? Do you have additional pictures of the exterior and pics of the water damage areas? Thank you, Rachael
