Vintage Camper Trailer News

Picture
An actual printed, bi-monthly publication (full color, bright white newsprint) that will spotlight all aspects of the vintage camper trailering hobby from rescuing them to restoring them, and all of the fun we all have at rallies! The publication will appeal to not only those that are in the hobby, but those that want to be, and those that just appreciate the trailers for their artistic beauty.

With so many aspects of midcentury America getting attention today; (cars, fashion, music, etc), there is a need for a printed publication geared primarily towards the vintage camper trailers collectors and restorers. Click here to subscribe. Or pick up a copy here.

The internet has been a great vehicle to grow our contacts. Our website gets over 1500 unique visitors per day; we have over 12,000 likes on our facebook page!

I believe many people still enjoy seeing things in a printed piece as opposed to just staring at a computer. I have written columns for several years in a similar publication targeted at classic car enthusiasts. Their response to my vintage camper trailer articles has been very positive. Almost daily I receive calls from all over the United States with vintage camper questions and comments on my articles and social media sites.

The VCT News will be available by subscription, at select locations and at rallies. Listings for rallies will be free as our goal is to promote the hobby and the camaraderie that the rallies create. We also have free classified listings for subscribers.

The current format is 50lb offset book (bright white, heavier, newsprint) in full color. It is 12 (or more), 11”x17” pages and be folded to an 8.5”x11” tabloid size. This format will provide a lot of space for large, full color images and interesting articles on a bi-monthly basis.

LOVE the new magazine! And what an honor and treat to have my grandparents featured in the first issue. They would be very happy that folks still enjoy camping in these little trailers as much as they did! The photos on this site are just delicious. What a talented group of people and each trailer is beautiful and unique in its own way. So glad they're are being rescued and celebrated!!

Nice job. Phyllis

Hi Paul, just received your  hard publication in the mail today. I was delighted to see it. It exceeded all my expectations. Just wanted to reach out and offer kudos for a job well done. Very entertaining. I especially like the listings of future rallies which makes it easy to think about attending one out of state at some point in the future. Perhaps I can make a contribution at some point. I will look forward to all subsequent issues. I'm sure we'll see you at Pismo and perhaps at Felton and Petaluma in the Fall. Regards, Dan and Susan Cutright '54 Traveleze 21ES

I just ordered a new awning from Marti and with it came a VCT newspaper.. Can I subscribe from Canada? Excited! I really liked the newsletter/paper. Thanks,
