1952 Vagabond 19. The Model 19 Vagabond was built by Vagabond Coach Mfg. Co. of New Hudson, Michigan and was introduced in 1949 in response to the demand for a lower-priced travel trailer without sacrificing the features and quality that made Vagabond famous. They featured a welded steel framework with an all-aluminum skin, gas stove, electric refrigerator, plus screen doors and windows. A very nice original that the owners decided to submit to a complete restoration top-to-bottom in 2011. It looks fantastic, and has not been used since the restoration was completed. Great efforts were undertaken to keep everything original spec, from the working stove and refrigerator to the Jack-Knife sleeper sofa. The birch wood is 90-percent original and displays original-style beauty. The mattress is new and custom made, and it has never been used. Further notable features on this teal-toned Vagabond include tilt-out windows, beautiful interior radius' that create wonderfully comfortable spaces, lighting, color-keyed wheels and blackwall tires. Opportunities to acquire this vintage of Vagabond do not come along on a frequent basis; this provides a superb chance to secure an extraordinary piece of American vacationing history.Prospect, KY. $35,000 firstname.lastname@example.org
1953 35' Vagabond FOR SALE -This trailer is what is called a park model that was designed with all the amenities of a small home to be moved as needed to follow better weather or better jobs. This particular trailer was sold new from a dealer in Clearwater FL named C. J. Stoll in late 1953. The couple that purchased the trailer lived in it for only a few years and then put it in covered storage where it remained until 1987. The trailer was purchased at this time after several years of trying by my friend Stuart E. from Lakeland FL.
After some cleaning and dusting it became apparent to Stuart that what he had was a like new 1953 Vagabond. The trailer needed paint and new tires and that was about it, none of the birch panels have been replaced.Even the curtains appear original, as are all appliances, light fixtures and well just about everything else. The upholstery and floor covering have been replaced. The trailer weighs close to 8000 lbs and I have camped in it from California to the Florida Keys to Central Michigan. Quite a show both on the road and at camp. email@example.com $75,000
17 feet long and was built in Mt. Clemens, MI and remains as it did when it left the factory in 1937. All of the interior including the curtains and seat fabrics are original and in excellent condition. Both the cooking stove and heating furnace appear new and never to have been used. The trailer sleeps 4 and has a bathroom with a sink and small chemical toilet. There is also an ice box and kitchen sink. One discovery that was almost hard to believe was that even the 6 v light bulbs seem to be original due to the fact they have the Covered Wagon name on the glass. The exterior has the original paint except for the roof and bottom trim band.
I do use the trailer and I pulled it 600 miles on the Historic National Road Caravan in 2006 which took us from Cumberland, MD to Vandalia, IL. My tow vehicle was a 1948 Buick Roadmaster. This is without doubt one of the most original, untouched pre war trailers left and one of my favorites of the collection. $45,000 firstname.lastname@example.org

You'll get lots of attention in this trailer. Everyone wants to see it and talk to you about it! This 1962 Aloha is done in a Nez Perce Indian theme; their women used to cure the salmon in the Idaho valley now currently called New Meadows. So it's painted with photos of that going on. The Nez Perce slogan over the front door means something like, "The River is the Older and Wiser Sister of Us All" The inside features Nez Perce style living; they slept in reed, not skin, tents. So reed walls and ceiling, Elk skin down cushioned beds and seats. Very comfortable sleeping for four. New Linoleum tile flooring and butcher block counter tops. No heater in the trailer; unit was removed but could be replaced. Oven, water, electricity, ice box refrigerator (new) all work. Buyer can have all the decor they want - comforters, kitchenware, artwork and more! She winters in a barn in New Meadows, Idaho (2 1/2 hours north of Boise) and can only be seen May - November.
